Job summary

Medical City Fort Worth is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our clinical laboratory team. You will perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures across laboratory sections, and maintain patient results and quality control records.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree; MLS/CLS certification or equivalent is preferred, with at least one year of hospital experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Medical Laboratory Scientist, or Certified Medical Lab, or Certified Lab Technologist, or Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Medical Lab Scientist, or American Medical Technologist is required.
• At least one year experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
• Maintain records of performance, patient results and quality control.
• Maintain equipment, record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment.
• Assist with laboratory training programs as required.
