Essentia Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist to join St. Mary's Hospital in Superior, WI. The role involves performing tests for all complexity levels and reporting results to aid in diagnosis and treatment across patient ages.

Candidates should meet MLT/MLS education pathways and CLIA guidelines, with ASCP-MLS certification preferred for the MLS track. Shift includes Day/Eve rotations with weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• MLT: associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician or CLIA-compliant alternative route.
• MLS: four-year CLS degree or ASCP MLS with required clinical lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report tests of all complexity levels per CLIA for patients of all ages.
• Participate in QA/QC monitoring, instrumentation maintenance, troubleshooting, and specimen processing.
