Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the Clinical and/or Microbiology Laboratory teams. The role involves performing routine and specialized tests with supervision under the Manager of Laboratory Services.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related science and will obtain/hold a California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license at hire. This is a full-time, day shift position at our Eureka, CA campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related science.
• California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license required at hire.
• Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized tests in Clinical and/or Microbiology Laboratories.
• Solve technical problems requiring a degree of judgment with minimum supervision.
