Job summary

A leading healthcare staffing provider is looking for a Medical Laboratory Scientist in Charlotte, NC. This is a 3-month contract role requiring a BS in Medical Technology or equivalent, along with at least 1 year of clinical laboratory experience. Responsibilities include specimen handling, test analysis, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. Offering $23-27/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Preferred: BS in Medical Technology.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in high complexity testing.
• National certification as MT/MLT from ASCP or AMT (or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing.
• Review and release test results.
• Comply with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
