Geisinger Medical Laboratories in Danville, PA is seeking a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist for a full‑time night shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.) with enhanced shift differential.

The role offers a $12,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and comprehensive benefits from day one. The position requires a Bachelor of Science in a relevant field with ASCP/NAACLS‑accredited MLS program or ASCP certification, or equivalent experience.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science degree with accredited Medical Technology/MLS program or ASCP categorical certification.
• B.S. in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical lab science plus ASCP certification.
• B.S. with two years’ experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician or equivalent in a clinical lab.

Responsabilidades

• Performs and reports analyses from multiple specimen sources to ensure highest patient care.
• Maintains productivity and completes tasks in a timely manner.
• Handles specimens properly and verifies identification and suitability.
• Performs instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Replenishes reagents per established protocols and documents activities.

Educación

Bachelor of Science degree and ASCP/NAACLS‑accredited Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program

Bachelor of Science degree with major in biological, chemical, physical or clinical laboratory science and ASCP categorical certification

Bachelor of Science degree with major and two years' experience in a clinically equivalent ML role
