Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join a state-of-the-art laboratory team. You will perform and report analyses from multiple specimen sources to deliver high-quality patient care.

The role requires evening shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a sign-on bonus and full benefits from day one. A BS in MLS or accredited program plus relevant certification or experience is required, with ongoing professional education encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ASCP/NAACLS-accredited Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program or equivalent.
• Certification or experience in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science.
• Ability to perform in a clinical environment, follow policies, and complete competency exams.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining productivity and managing multiple work processes efficiently.
• Handling specimens properly, confirming identification, and using proper accessioning procedures.
• Recognizing discrepancies, resolving issues, and performing instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Replenishing reagents, following reporting procedures, and accessing multiple computer applications.
• Assisting in training new employees and participating in ongoing educational activities.
