Job summary

Medical City Weatherford seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic tests across laboratory sections. You will maintain records, quality control, and support patient care with precise results.

The role includes equipment maintenance, preventive servicing, and potential involvement in staff training programs to ensure high standards of laboratory practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science or related field is required.
• Certification as MLS/MLT or AMT is preferred or required as listed in the qualifications.
• Clinical laboratory experience is beneficial and supports proficiency in lab work.

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
• Maintain records of results, performance, patient results and quality control.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; record preventive and remedial maintenance.
