Medical City Fort Worth is seeking a Medical Lab Technician to conduct routine and complex tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and microbiology to support patient diagnosis and treatment. Join a dedicated team delivering high-quality care in a busy hospital setting.

You will perform procedures across multiple lab sections, ensure accuracy, and uphold rigorous quality control standards to support timely, reliable results for clinicians and patients alike.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or Certificate required.
• Medical Lab Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) credential preferred.
• Hospital experience is strongly preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures across laboratory sections.
• Produce accurate results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis and microbiology.
• Maintain quality results by running standards, calibrating equipment and monitoring quality control.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Medical Lab Technician conducts routine and complex laboratory tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and/or microbiology for use in patient diagnosis and treatment of disease. Come join our team of dedicated professionals that is committed to delivering the best patient care.

What You Will Do In This Role

• You will perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
• You will produce accurate results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology and other areas as designated.
• You will maintain quality results by running standards and controls, calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures, verifying equipment function through routine maintenance and monitoring quality control measures and protocols.

What qualifications you will need

• Associate Degree, or Certificate
• Medical Lab Scientist, or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Hospital experience is strongly preferred
