Job summary

Live Well Homecare seeks a dedicated medical laboratory professional to perform automated, semi-automated, and manual testing across departments such as blood bank, toxicology, urinalysis, chemistry, and hematology. You will ensure accurate results by following procedures and handling specimens correctly.

You will support quality control, troubleshoot instrumentation, and contribute to ongoing education while assisting in training new staff and managing supplies in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science with relevant certification or experience.
• Medical Lab Technicians: associate degree with certification or eligible graduates.
• Strong computer proficiency, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform automated, semi-automated, and manual testing across multiple departments.
• Ensure accurate results by following procedures and proper specimen handling.
• Maintain equipment and support quality control measures.

Join a dynamic medical laboratory team in a fast-paced clinical environment, performing and reporting a variety of analyses from multiple specimen sources to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing automated, semi-automated, and manual testing across multiple departments such as blood bank, toxicology, urinalysis, chemistry, and hematology.
• Ensuring accurate results by following established procedures, managing specimens correctly, and maintaining equipment.
• Supporting quality control, troubleshooting instrumentation, and verifying results.
• Assisting in training new staff and participating in ongoing educational activities.
• Handling discrepancies, recording maintenance, and managing supplies efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in biological, chemical, physical, or clinical laboratory science, with relevant certification or experience.
• For Medical Lab Technicians, an associate degree with certification or eligible new graduates.
• Proficiency in computer applications, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Ability to perform testing in a high-volume setting, troubleshoot, and support quality control measures.
