Live Well Homecare is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technician to perform and report analyses from multiple specimen sources to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related science field or an Associate degree with certification for Technicians.
• Successful completion of an accredited Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining productivity and managing multiple processes efficiently.
• Properly handling and identifying specimens, confirming suitability, and using accessioning procedures.
• Recognizing and resolving discrepancies in patient orders.
• Performing instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Replenishing reagents and supplies, and following reporting protocols.
• Navigating computer applications, assisting with training, and participating in educational activities.
• Achieving competency standards and complying with organizational policies.
