Live Well Homecare is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform and report analyses from multiple specimen sources, delivering high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. The role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, and certification is preferred; experience in clinical labs is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science certification preferred.
• Experience in clinical laboratory settings and ability to complete competency exams.
• Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and proficiency with computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage specimen handling, confirmation of identification, and accessioning procedures.
• Recognize discrepancies, resolve issues, and report problems appropriately.
• Maintain instruments, troubleshoot, perform quality control, and replenish supplies.
• Follow established reporting and computer application procedures.
• Assist in training new employees and participate in ongoing educational activities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and performing in a clinical environment.
