Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to provide high-quality analyses from multiple specimen sources, supporting accurate patient care in a state-of-the-art laboratory.

You will manage specimens, ensure proper accessioning, report results, and help maintain instrument quality controls in a collaborative, safety-focused environment. The role includes continuing education and staff training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science program or relevant certification.
• Successful competency assessments.

Responsibilities

• Performing and reporting laboratory analyses with accuracy and efficiency.
• Managing specimens, confirming identification, and ensuring proper accessioning.
• Recognizing discrepancies, resolving issues, and documenting instrument maintenance and quality control.
• Replenishing supplies, following reporting procedures, and utilizing multiple computer applications.
• Training new staff and participating in continuing education to maintain current knowledge.
