Express Lab was founded in 2000 by Dr John E. Liljenquist, MD, who is also the founder of Rocky Mountain Diabetes Center. Dr. Liljenquist and his fellow physicians are nationally renowned diabetes and endocrinology experts.

Express lab continues to be locally owned, and is a full-service, independent laboratory. We provide fast and accurate clinical laboratory testing for patients, healthcare providers, and wellness-minded corporations.

A Day in the Life of a Laboratory Assistant

As a Laboratory Assistant, you are involved in several aspects of patient care including specimen processing, ordering, inspection and proper placement of samples. You will help create a healing environment by triaging patient and provider calls, creating patient accounts and performing basic tests. You will help with supply chain management. Your time will be split performing laboratory processing and picking up samples as a courier.
