Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for travel assignments across healthcare facilities in Washington and nearby regions. The role involves performing routine tests in clinical laboratories to generate data for diagnostic and treatment decisions.

Candidates should have an MLT program background, preferably ASCP certification, with CPR and health certificates as required by contract or jurisdiction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) program; ASCP board exam preferred.
• One year of laboratory experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification, if applicable.
• Health certificate required by contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Medical Laboratory Technician performs routine tests ina medical laboratory to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technician(MLT) program and successful completion of national exam administered by theBoard of Registry of the American Society of Clinical Pathology preferred andmay be required per state/contract
• One year experience as a laboratory technician preferred
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
