Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Assistant to work under the direction of a physician to assist in examination and treatment of patients. This role requires a High School diploma, knowledge of medical terminology and procedures, and strong clerical skills.

Location options include Morton, WA and Olympia, WA with travel/contract full-time opportunities. Competitive pay, weekly paychecks, and health benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program; certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
• Good telephone communication skills.
• Clerical function knowledge.
• Current CPR (if applicable).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable).
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable).
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in examination and treatment of patients under physician direction.
• Perform duties to support clinical operations and scheduling.
• Provide patient communication and clerical support.
