Zusammenfassung

Universal Health Services is seeking a laboratory professional to receive and analyze specimens, and report results in a timely manner in accordance with department policies. The role involves participating in quality control and safety programs, maintaining supplies, and contributing to method evaluations and training activities.

The position requires a BS in Medical Technology or related field and eligibility for MT(ASCP) or CLS(NCA)/MT(AMT) credentials, with hospital internship or lab

Qualifikationen

12 months of structured training with clinical internship in a hospital setting or 2 years clinical lab work experience.
Commitment to the Compliance Program and Code of Conduct with required training and reporting.
BS in Medical Technology or related field; MT(ASCP), CLS(NCA) or MT(AMT) eligibility.

Aufgaben

Receive and analyze laboratory specimens and report results promptly per policies and procedures.
Participate in and help evaluate Quality Control, Quality Assurance, maintenance and safety programs.
Maintain parts, reagents and supplies in assigned areas; support new method evaluations and procedure writing.
Assist in teaching, continuing education, and supervisory or other organizational activities.
