Job summary

You will analyze results, ensure quality control, maintain LIS records, and collaborate with physicians to provide accurate diagnostic information, while upholding CLIA/CAP/OSHA standards and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science required.
• NAACLS-accredited MLS program preferred.
• ASCP/AAB/AMT MLS MT certification preferred; state license as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology, blood banking, and urinalysis.
• Analyze and validate results ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Calibrate and maintain equipment per protocols.
• Review specimens for accuracy before testing.
• Document data in LIS and participate in QA programs.
• Assist with proficiency testing and QC activities.
• Collaborate with clinicians to provide accurate results.
• Perform venipuncture and sample processing as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow infection control.
• Pursue continuing education on lab technology advances.
