Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in Tallahassee, FL, seeks an Assistant to the Laboratory Information System Manager to support quality patient care. You will assist in implementing and maintaining the Laboratory Information System, provide necessary techs, supplies, and procedures, and coordinate with administration and lab clients.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology and a Florida technician license in microbiology, serology,

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technician program.
Required Experience: None required.

Responsibilities

Creates an optimal environment for Medical Laboratory personnel to provide quality patient care.
Assists the Laboratory Information System Manager and in implementing and maintaining the Laboratory Information System.
Provides the technology, supplies, policies and procedures for quality work.
Serves as interface with administration and clients.
Assists the Section Head in ensuring compliance with TMH policies and regulatory requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology

Tools

Florida technician license in microbiology, serology, clinical chemistry, and hematology
