Job summary

Prairie Band LLC is seeking Medical Lab Technologists or Clinical Laboratory Scientists to join the Hopi Health Care Center in Polacca, AZ. Candidates should have an associate’s degree in medical technology, valid ASCP certification, and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include performing diagnostic tests in a clinical laboratory setting and assisting with phlebotomy. Preference is given to candidates with rural healthcare experience and the ability to pass Federal Security Clearance. Full-time hours are available with benefits including medical, vision, dental, PTO, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate’s degree in medical technology, Bachelor's preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience as a MLT or CLS in a Hospital Medical Lab.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic testing in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, urinalysis, serology, and microbiology.
• Assist with phlebotomy when needed.
• Provide services in an inpatient and outpatient clinical laboratory setting.

Impatient/Outpatient Medical Lab Tech MLT/CLS

Hopi Health Care Center in Polacca, AZ is looking for Medical Lab Technologists or Clinical Laboratory Scientists to serve the Indian Health Services Population.

• Day or Night Shift Available
• Full Time Hours
• Medical, Vision, Dental and more

• Accepting local and travel candidates
• Previous Medical/Clinical lab experience is required
• Phlebotomy experience helpful
• ASCP or equivalent required
• BLS required
• Previous IHS experience helpful

MLT’s or CLS are needed to provide services in an inpatient and outpatient clinical laboratory setting by performing diagnostic testing in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, urinalysis, serology, and microbiology and occasionally assisting with phlebotomy.

Requirements

• Minimum of an associate’s degree in medical technology. Bachelors in related field preferred.

• 2-3 years’ experience as a MLT or CLS in a Hospital Medical Lab.
• Experience providing care to patients within a rural area.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Must be willing to pass Federal Security Clearance.
• Immunization records will be required.
