Job summary

Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. in Hicksville, NY is seeking qualified Medical Laboratory Technologists or Technicians for 2nd shift. You will perform moderate to high complexity testing using Roche instruments, maintain and calibrate equipment, and analyze results with QC oversight.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and complete instrument maintenance, calibration and QC.
• Analyze, review, and report test results and QC results; take remedial action when indicated.
• Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to procedures for handling and processing.

Location: 250 Miller Place, Hicksville, NY 11801

Hours: 4:00pm-12:30am; Monday - Friday with rotating Saturdays

FULL TIME: Benefits Eligible

PAY RATE: MT $38.00 to $54.00 per hour (depending on experience) and MLT $30.00 to $49.00 per hours (depending on experience) *Sign On Bonus Eligible*

In this role you will:

• Perform moderate and high complexity testing using state-of-the art Roche instrumentation
• Set up and complete instrument maintenance, calibration and QC
• Analyze, review, and report test results and quality control results and take remedial action when indicated
• Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to the laboratory’s procedure for specimen handling and processing
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures to include departmental programs, quality control, quality assurance, and safety
