Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc. in Hicksville, NY seeks a Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Technician for 1st shift. You will perform moderate to high complexity testing and ensure specimen integrity while delivering accurate results in a fast-paced laboratory.

We offer hourly pay ranging with experience, a comprehensive benefits package, 40-hour weeks, and a Great Place to Work certified environment that values teamwork and patient care. Sign-on bonus eligibility is available.

Qualifications

• New York State License (Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician) required or preferred.
• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or related degree.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform moderate and high complexity testing using state-of-the-art analyzers.
• Analyze, review, and report test results and quality control results and take remedial action when indicated.
• Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to the laboratory’s procedure for specimen handling and processing.
• Work independently to complete required tasks.
• Adhere to departmental policies and procedures including quality control, quality assurance, and safety.

8:30am - 5:00pm; Monday to Friday w/alternating Saturdays

FULL TIME

Benefits eligible

PAY RATE

MT $38.00 to $54.00 per hour (depending on experience) and MLT $30.00 to $49.00 per hours (depending on experience)

In This Role You Will
