Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to perform tests on blood, urine and other body fluids to aid in diagnosis and patient care. The MLT works in a collaborative lab setting, supporting performance improvement and patient safety.

Qualifications include an associate degree and completion of an accredited MLT program or ASCP eligible/qualified credentials.

Qualifications

• Associates degree and completion of an accredited MLT program or equivalent education/experience qualifies for national ASCP registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on blood, urine and other body fluids to obtain information for diagnosis and patient status.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to ensure quality improvement.
• Maintain patient, visitor and coworker safety and support a teamwork-oriented environment.
