Job summary

Bon Secours is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician I (MLT) to perform routine tests on blood and tissue samples and provide physicians with accurate results. The role emphasizes patient safety and adherence to laboratory procedures within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed or eligible as MLT/ MLS.
• Two years clinical lab experience preferred.
• Performs tests on blood, tissues and body specimens with safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical tests on biological specimens in a timely, accurate manner.
• Determine acceptability of specimens and flag abnormal results.
• Recognize factors affecting measurements and follow protocols.
• Perform quality control and ensure results meet established ranges.
• Maintain a safe and efficient lab environment and troubleshoot equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
