Job summary

Under the direction of a licensed Medical Technologist, the MT I will report test results in a timely manner, follow quality control standards, and manage resources to ensure efficient laboratory operations.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Medical Technology or closely related field required.
• Strong understanding of laboratory testing procedures and protocols.
• Excellent communication with internal/external customers and ability to work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform, evaluate and report technical lab procedures on patient specimens.
• Report test results in a timely manner per lab protocols.
• Follow quality control procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Effectively manage resources including supplies, instruments and equipment.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.
