Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Related Science in Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
• Medical Lab Technician (Or) Medical Laboratory Science (Preferred)
• No work experience is required in clinical laboratory.
• Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
• Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking)

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and selected high complexity tests on clinical laboratory specimens in various laboratory sections.
• Validates and report results of tests performed.
• Performs and documents Quality Control.
• Performs instrument and equipment maintenance according to policy and procedures.
• Maintains adequate stock of reagents and supplies.
• Participates in continuing education.
