Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Medical Lab Technician in Mississippi to perform diagnostic tests on blood and body fluids, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. You will maintain equipment, follow regulatory guidelines, and support healthcare teams with critical results.

The role requires an associate degree in lab science or equivalent military training, and 0–2 years of acute care lab experience. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Laboratory Technology is required.
• Military Medical Laboratory Procedures course (50 weeks) with related MOS is required if applicable.
• 0–2 years of acute care laboratory experience is required.

Mansioni

• Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory tests with timely results and documentation.
• Follow quality control protocols and analyze data to troubleshoot out-of-range results.
• Operate and maintain lab instruments and perform preventive maintenance as needed.
• Use laboratory computer systems for general and section-specific tasks.
• Collect, process, and document chain-of-custody urine drug screens as required.
• Maintain safety with PPE and adhere to lab safety standards.
• Assist with phlebotomy duties and collaborate with team to complete tasks.
• Keep accurate records and ensure regulatory compliance.
