Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree in clinical laboratory science or an equivalent program.
• Military Medical Laboratory Procedures course (50 weeks) with MLS specialty required.
• 0–2 years of acute care laboratory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and high‑complexity tests with timely reporting and proper documentation.
• Adheres to quality control protocols and analyzes data to resolve out‑of‑range results.
• Operates and maintains laboratory instruments and performs preventive maintenance.
• Uses laboratory computer systems for general and section‑specific functions.
• Collects, documents, and manages chain‑of‑custody urine drug screens as required.
• Ensures safety through PPE and regulatory compliance; assists with phlebotomy when needed.
• Maintains records and assists with departmental tasks and attendance.
