Beacon Health System is hiring a full-time night shift Medical Lab Technician for our lab at Plainwell Hospital in Plainwell, MI.
Full time. 40 hrs/week. 10 hour shifts. 1100-2130 with weekend rotation.

Beacon Kalamazoo provides 24/7 emergency care and a Level II Trauma Center. We deliver care for serious life‑threatening injuries/illnesses, and everyday health needs, including labor and delivery. We offer specialty care for heart/vascular disease, lung and sleep disorders, mental health conditions, and women’s health. We offer a wide range of outpatient services, including diagnostic imaging, lab tests, respiratory therapy, and rehabilitation therapy services.
As a Medical Lab Technician, you’ll perform routine diagnostic and analytic testing of laboratory specimens.
As a Medical Lab Technician, you’ll bring proper identification of known hazardous material in the workplace. You’ll have knowledge of personal protection measures and the ability to avoid accidents. You’ll have knowledge of hazardous waste characteristics, hazardous waste volume generation limits, accumulation limits, spill control measures, record keeping, proper handling and container management, labeling, container and storage inspection.
