Job summary

Voyage Healthcare MN in Osseo, MN seeks a Medical Lab Technician Float (MLT) to travel to four clinic locations and support laboratory teams. You will perform moderately complex testing and phlebotomy to ensure high-quality care across sites.

Current MLT certification is required; applicants without active MLT certification will not be considered. Hourly range: $24.00–$29.00, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MLT (CLT) or MT (CLS) program.
• ASCP certification required.
• Previous laboratory/clinic experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel between clinic locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderately complex testing in a COLA-certified laboratory.
• Conduct testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and limited microbiology.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect/process specimens per procedures.
• Record and report test results per laboratory policies.
• Collaborate with lab staff under Lab Supervisor guidance.
• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

As a Medical Lab Technician Float (MLT),you will travel to all four clinic locations to support our laboratory teams. In this role, you will perform moderate complexity testing as well as phlebotomy, helping ensure high-quality care across multiple sites.

Responsibilities:

• Perform moderately complex testing in a COLA-certified laboratory
• Conduct testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and limited microbiology
• Perform phlebotomy and collect/process specimens following appropriate collection procedures
• Accurately record and report test results in accordance with laboratory policies
• Collaborate with laboratory staff under the guidance of the Lab Supervisor
• Follows all safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA standards
• Complete additional duties as assigned
