Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a qualifying field and licensed Medical Laboratory Professional; 1–3 years clinical laboratory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 3 years clinical lab experience preferred.
• Qualifying fields: Medical Lab Technician or Scientist; Clinical Lab Technician or Scientist.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses as assigned in accordance with the catalog description and approved course syllabus; travel to multiple campuses as assigned.
• Advise and mentor students about academic and career goals.
• Collaborate with faculty, curriculum chair, and academic leadership on curricular and programmatic issues.
• Collaborate with faculty, administration and staff to support the college’s operations and strategic goals.
• Maintain current knowledge in the teaching discipline.
• Assist in keeping instructional resources current.
• Support curricular and co-curricular activities and participate in graduation exercises.
• Teach a 15-hour load per semester (Fall and Spring).
• Post and maintain office hours for advisement and meetings.
• Respond promptly to the Dean’s requests.
• Submit paperwork timely and completely.
• Serve on college committees.
• Perform duties per TBR and MSCC policies.
