Job summary

GhostRx Inc. is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join the clinical laboratory at Phoenix Indian Medical Center, supporting Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and Transfusion Medicine.

You will work under a Medical Technologist, performing high-complexity testing and reporting results in a fast-paced federal healthcare setting. The ideal candidate has an ASCP MLT, 1+ year of experience, and an approved degree or military training.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Biology or Chemistry with NAACLS MLT program OR 3 years of clinical laboratory experience
• Minimum 1 year of MLT experience; preference for specialty
• Current ASCP MLT certification
• Current ACLS or BLS certification
• Proficiency across major lab areas: chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood bank, serology, urinalysis, microbiology, molecular testing
• Ability to work Sunday–Thursday 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
• Ability to complete federal background, fingerprinting, and IHS credentialing
• Immunizations and TB screening; training requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity analytical testing procedures under supervision of Medical Technologist
• Collect and process laboratory specimens
• Process and analyze clinical laboratory specimens
• Verify and report laboratory results
• Adhere to The Joint Commission, CAP, CMS standards in Phoenix Area IHS facilities
• Follow accreditation standards for CAH and POC testing
