Job summary

Blessing Health System in Hannibal, MO, is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to collect and process patient samples and perform clinical laboratory analyses across complexity levels to support accurate diagnoses and patient care.

The position requires an Associate Degree in MLT (or approved equivalent) and ASCP (or equivalent) certification. It is non-exempt hourly and includes competitive benefits plus a shift differential, aligning with our Mission and Core Values.

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for collecting and processing patient samples and performing clinical laboratory analysis at all complexity levels for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Health System. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Experience:

REQUIRED:

Associate Degree in MLT (unless waived by CLIA).
