Position Overview

Collects, performs, and evaluates clinical laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis and monitoring of patient treatment, providing timely and accurate services across all age groups, while meeting regulatory standards.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution, or qualified as a technician under CLIA grandfather provisions prior to April 24, 1995.

Preferred Experience & Skills

• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of infection prevention protocols and safety practices.
• Skill in operating laboratory equipment.
• Ability to evaluate lab test results.

Licensure/Certification

ASCP or equivalent certification, or eligible to sit for the Board or Registry exam. Certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire and maintained for employment.

Additional Details

Work Group: Non-Contract

Hours: 64 hours per pay period, Night shift (8 hours), Every other weekend, On-site, Non-Exempt, Salary Range: $23.66 - $35.50, based on experience. Shift differential pay may apply.
