Job summary

Rutherford Regional Health System is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our full-time daytime team. You will perform routine tests across laboratory sections and report results to the Director of Laboratory Services.

This role supports patient care indirectly, with a focus on accuracy, quality control, and HIPAA-compliant handling of patient data. AAS/AS degree and MLT certification preferred are valued by our lab.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's Degree in Science required.
• License /Certifications: MLT certification through ASCP or AMT preferred.

• Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
