Responsibilities

• Proficient in accurately reporting CLIA test results across Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Serology, Microbiology, Coagulation and Miscellaneous areas.
• Monitors tests and procedures and documents results clearly and concisely.
• Assists in collection, processing, and labeling of specimens with proper patient identifiers.
• Maintains and operates lab equipment safely and correctly.
• Adheres to universal precautions and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen standards.
• Communicates critical results and information to the appropriate staff and shifts.
