Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training in clinical lab testing procedures and quality control principles.
• Military course or certification in Medical Laboratory Procedures.
• 0–2 years of acute care laboratory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate and high-complexity tests with accurate reporting and proper documentation.
• Adheres to quality control protocols and analyzes data to troubleshoot out-of-range results.
• Operates, maintains, and troubleshoots lab instruments; communicates issues to supervisors.
• Collects, processes, and documents chain-of-custody urine drug screens as required.
• Maintains records and data in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assists with phlebotomy duties and collaborates with team to complete tasks.
