HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our laboratory team. You will perform manual and automated test procedures, report results, and support chemistry, hematology, and microbiology workflows to ensure accurate patient care.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in MLT/CLT or CLIA qualification, ASCP preferred, and at least 1 year of clinical lab experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology/CLT from an accredited program.
• Or be qualified under CLIA guidelines for MLT/CLT.
• MLT (ASCP) or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs manual and automated test procedures.
• Reports laboratory results accurately, including critical values.
• Works across chemistry, hematology, and microbiology as needed.
• Responds to test inquiries and clarifies methods and test performance.
• Evaluates specimen collection and processing issues to ensure quality.
• Responds promptly to stat and priority tests to support patient care.
