Job summary
Labcorp Holdings in Houston, TX is seeking a Medical Lab Tech to perform moderate and high complexity testing across hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology and blood banking.
Requirements include a bachelor or equivalent in chemistry, biology, clinical lab science, or medical technology and at least 1 year of related lab experience, plus troubleshooting instrumentation and LIS processes with familiarity of CAP/CLIA standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or equivalent in Chemistry, Biology, Clinical Lab Science, Medical Technology or related field.
- 1 year of experience as a Technologist or related role in a clinical laboratory.
- Experience with troubleshooting instrumentation, LIS processes, and knowledge of CAP/CLIA regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform moderate and high complexity testing across laboratory disciplines (hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology, and blood banking).
- Adhere to CAP/CLIA regulatory standards and maintain quality control.
