Job summary

University Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team. You will perform procedures for testing or analysis on specimens submitted to the laboratory in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Candidates must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in medical technology or related sciences, or a high school diploma with military medical laboratory training; ASCP-BOC or AMT certification is required. We offer growth opportunities and an affordable benefits package.

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in medical technology, clinical laboratory, chemical, physical, or biological science is required

OR

High school graduate or equivalent AND successfully completed military training of 50 or more weeks and served as a medical laboratory specialist.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION

Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) is required.
