The role involves specimen collection, labeling, and processing, with emphasis on quality control and accurate documentation. Certifications such as ASCP_MLS, MT, or related credentials are required or preferred.

The MLS will maintain instruments and follow regulatory guidelines while collaborating with team members to ensure timely, precise results in patient care.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific related field is required.

• Certification options include ASCP_C, CYGT, ASCP_MB, ASCP_MLS/AMT_MLS, ASCP_MT/AMT_MT.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine tests on specimens following laboratory procedures and policies.
• Collect and identify specimens accurately, labeling and storing appropriately.
• Maintain instruments and perform quality control, calibration, and delta checks as required.
• Assist teammates and provide guidance on advanced tasks when needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and accurate records.
