Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist (MT Generalist) for a part-time role at the Town Center ED. The candidate will work 1:00pm – 9:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with supervision by lab leadership and opportunities to rotate within different areas of the lab.

The position requires a Florida MT Generalist license, at least one year of MT experience, and an Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred).

Formación

• Must hold a Florida MT Generalist license prior to hire.
• Minimum 1 year of working MT experience.
• Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform technical, specimen collection/processing, LIS, and clerical functions in laboratory areas.
• Maintain performance records per SOPs.
• Supervise MLTs as General Supervisor and act as Charge Technologist in absence of other supervisors.
• Instruct new employees and students when needed.
• Rotates within different areas of the lab to sharpen skills.

Associate's Degree Required

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Certified Medical Technologist (MT) Preferred

Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Preferred

Licensed Medical Technologist Required

Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technician Required
