Baptist Health in Jacksonville is seeking a part-time Medical Laboratory Scientist I/II for the Laboratory Department at Baptist Medical Center South. The role involves processing specimens, LIS-related tasks, and general clerical duties in the main lab, with supervision by laboratory leadership.

The position requires a Florida Medical Technologist or Generalist licensure, with experience and education aligned to MLS roles, and may include instruction of new staff and students.

Competenze

• Assists with processing and collecting specimens.
• Maintains records and adheres to SOPs.
• Performs clerical tasks in the main lab as needed.

Mansioni

• Maintain expertise in technical and clerical lab duties.
• Record performance per SOP manuals; supervised by Director/Section Supervisors.
• Instruct new employees and students when applicable.
