Luminis Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform a broad range of tests across hematology, chemistry, immunology, bacteriology, and more in an acute care setting. Applicants should hold MLS(ASCP) or MT(ASCP) certification, or be eligible within 6 months, with at least one year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with ASCP certification eligibility.
• One year of acute care MLS/MT experience preferred.
• Active MLS/MT certification or eligibility within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory tests across multiple disciplines.
• Maintain inventory and ensure supply continuity.
• Prepare and document reports in LIS; communicate abnormal results.
• Participate in quality control and proficiency testing.
• Mentor staff and students as needed.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
