Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analytic: Performs requested laboratory tests and special analyses per policy, prioritizes testing for timely reporting, uses QC procedures and acts on out-of-control results, documents QC, and troubleshoots equipment or reagents.
• Pre-analytic: Receives orders, collects and processes specimens, ensures adequate, acceptable samples.
• Post-analytic: Ensures timely release of results, communicates with reference lab, and determines release/repeat/referral decisions with supervisor input.
• Administrative: Assists with workload recording, inventory control, attends meetings, supports training, and ensures day-to-day lab operations and compliance.
