Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to join the team at Methodist Physicians Clinic - Regency in Omaha. The role involves performing diagnostic laboratory tests essential for detecting and treating diseases, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7am to 5pm, full-time, four days per week.

Requirements include a BS in MLS/MT/CLS or a NAACLS-accredited MLS/MT/CLS program, and ASCP MT/MLS certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology required.
• Alternate BS/BA with a NAACLS-accredited MLS/MT/CLS program and certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
• Accurately perform and report tests on patient specimens on assigned benches.
• Maintain quality control and calibration as required.
• Follow PPE guidelines and ensure patient data confidentiality.
