Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist (Clinical Lab Scientist, Medical Technologist) to join our laboratory team. You will perform a broad range of tests with a collaborative multi-disciplinary group dedicated to being the best place to get care and to give care.

This full-time night position requires readiness for a challenging environment and support for new graduates who are preparing for ASCP certification within 9 months of hire.

Qualificações

• New grads must pass ASCP registry within 9 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent.
• Experience: Less than 1 year preferred but open to new grads.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a broad range of tests with accurate and reliable analyses.
• Identify technical, instrument or physiological problems and evaluate solutions.
• Verify laboratory results using knowledge of techniques, principles and instruments.
• Monitor quality assurance programs and participate in performance improvements.
• Correlate and interpret data considering physiological factors affecting results.

Responsibilities

• Full-time nights, 9:30 p.m. to 9:00 a.m., rolling calendar days.
• Performs accurate and reliable analyses requiring a complex network of steps and variables
• Recognizes technical, instrument or physiological problems, identifying causes and evaluating alternative solutions
• Confirms and verifying laboratory results utilizing in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles and instruments
• Correlates and interpreting data based on knowledge of physiological conditions affecting test results
• Establishes and monitors quality assurance programs
• Participates in performance improvement programs

New Grad must pass ASCP registry within 9 months of hire
