Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for the Council Bluffs, IA campus. The role requires performing diagnostic tests, reporting results, and ensuring quality control and regulatory compliance across routine benches.

Qualifications include a BS in MLS/CLS/MLS, NAACLS-accredited program, and ASCP MT/MLS certification within 6 months. Prior lab experience is preferred; training will be provided where needed.

Perform duties of a Medical Laboratory Scientist.Accurately perform, evaluate appropriateness and report tests/analyses requested on patient specimens on all assigned routine benches.Utilize time efficiently to complete assignments and assist coworkers.Quality control is completed and documented 100% of the time.Calibration is completed and documented 100% of the time.Routine maintenance is completed and documented 100% of the time.Compliant per Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines 100% of the time.Accommodate patient and laboratory needs by professionally responding to requests for flexibility in duties, schedules, and staffing.2.
