Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform laboratory procedures and testing across patient ages with accuracy and timeliness. Certifications by ASCP/AMT/AAB per Georgia regulations are required upon hire, or provisional arrangements may apply.

Qualifications

• Education: GED with sufficient college/technical courses and clinical training to satisfy MT certification requirements
• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or life/biological science preferred
• Licensure/certification as MT/MLS per GA regs (ASCP/AMT/AAB) required or eligible
• Temporary 18-month provisional classification for those who recently moved to GA to complete exam
• AAB provisional certification not accepted
