Job summary

Piedmont McDuffie Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Medical Technologist to join our laboratory team. You will independently perform tests on patients of all ages using established procedures and deliver accurate results to support quality patient care.

Education requires a GED with qualifying college/technical courses for testing and certification, or a Bachelor's in clinical laboratory science or life sciences. Certification by ASCP/AMT/AAB is required or eligible within 18 months.

Qualifications

• GED with sufficient college/technical courses and clinical training to satisfy testing and certification.
• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or life sciences preferred.
• State licensing/certification aligned with GA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs laboratory procedures and testing with demonstrated competency.
• Accurately interprets and analyzes results for patients of all ages.
