Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Medical Technology or BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology.
• ASCP MLS certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred; high-complexity testing experience if BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic testing using approved procedures and SOPs.
• Review, verify, and release patient test results accurately.
• Follow specimen handling, processing, and documentation procedures.
• Maintain quality control, calibration, maintenance, and proficiency testing records.
• Troubleshoot testing issues and document corrective actions.
• Report STAT and critical results per department procedures.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety requirements.
• Monitor reagent and test kit dates and usability.
• Participate in meetings, training, inspections, and education.
• Collaborate with staff and other departments to support testing operations.
